Just the little things you do will let him know. We did many things for each other over the years. My wife was constantly leaving me small post it notes every day on the bathroom mirror or on the kitchen table telling me "I Love You" or "Hope you have a good day, Love Your Sweetie" She never failed to meet me at the door with a smile and a kiss when she could. Running her fingers through my hair when she was talking to me. She died after sixteen years, but I'll always remember those little things the most.

Love is shown by actions, at least to me. How does he show love to you? We usually show our love to others in the way we would want to be shown love. Unfortunately, not everyone is the same. So, see how he shows you love - does he say it a lot and compliment you? Then he likes to hear words of love. Does he like to hug, cuddle, hold hands, then he feels love through physical touch. Does he do things for you (like wash your car or do the laundry) without being asked - then actions show him he's loved.
Watch him for a few days and you will soon see how you can make your husband feel loved. My husband is easy - he loves words of praise and love. Me, on the other hand, I like him to do something just for me - like wash my car or bring me a cup of coffee! Acts of service show me love. Hope that makes sense.

I agree if after 3 years he doesn't know that then your in trouble. The small things you do for the person you love means more than anything in life/money won't make them know you love them, so do something nice everyday for him and he will know by you doing that for him.
