My agriscience teacher bought us plants for mothers day last year and i got this one.. that was SUPPOSIDLY called a "dark k/night" of some sort. I looked it up on the internet and its DEFINATELY not a dark knight! It isnt blue!

It's purpleish colored and REALLY tall. The top of the leaves are a dark purple almost brown color and the underside of them are a lighter purpleish color. The leaves are also kind of waxy on the top..

The plant is ONLY the purple stuff. The green leaves are from other plants.

I have never seen one of those before. It is pretty. You may want to take it to a Florist and see if they can identify it. I did notice the African violets beside them though.

try going to hgtv.com. They have links to all the gardening shows & you should be able to find your plant there.
