I think most Man Utd fans would like him to, but it will depend how he does in the long term. He's had a good start but then so did Kevin Keegan and we all know how that ended.
I think it's more likely that Carlos Queiroz will succeed him he's definitely manager material (don't let that spell at Real fool you) most people seem to think he has alot of influence at Man U these days and it's him not Fergie that's behind the recent improvements.

At the moment, nobody seems to be emerging as a natural replacement - although Keano ( a hero of mine) is certainly making his mark. If Fergie was to stay on for another 3 years then who knows ..... Keano may have had a couple of decent seasons in the Premiership with Sunderland and he could be a contender. At this moment the only person I would even contemplate taking over from Fergie is Marcello Lippi.
Up the Red Devils and Roy Keane!!!

It would be a hugely popular choice with the fans. It would probably depend on Keano's track record at Sunderland or if he manages some other big team.

I think Carlos Queiroz will get the job or even Mark Hughes. But i would love to see Keano in the hot seat in the future.

It would be cool to see an ex-Man Utd player managing his former club. We'll just have to wait and see. If Keano is what United wants, then maybe United will hire him.

no i think carlos q is being prepped for this. He is giving after matches interviews instead of fergie, no other assistant manager at man u has done this in the past. Also carlos q is close to the players (ie ronaldo) at the moment as though he intending to stay for a few good years.

yes. Keane leads Sunderland from a relegating stricken team to a promotion fighting team. Without him, Sunderland will die. Keane also learn a bit from Fergie.
