america's military?

america has the best military weaponry on earth, but it never uses them. why doesnt america nuke a certain piece on land in afghanistan after giving women and children 72 hours to leave? if it doesnt kill anyone, at least they see what we're capable of. will liberals get all environmental on us and complain about a frog dying because of it? why dont we just get rid of our entire military the way liberals want, and then see how their "american" ideas work to sustain america?

The problem with that is it will spread wit the winds to other countries. To say what we have for power is an under statement, everyone knows the power of the U.S. but they also know the mind set of the U.S..

No nukes will every be used again unless it came down to be attacked and the loss of the Americas. This will be the only time you will ever see or think of seeing nukes by the U.S..

How will that accomplish anything in the long run? Do you not understand the damage caused by a nuclear blast? All it shows is a capability of arrogance and violence. If we set off a nuclear bomb, do you honestly believe it would stop there? Most likely it would set off WW III. Why don't we concentrate on winning through conventional methods, They would work if we quit tying the soldiers hands behind there backs, and gave them the equipment, military intel, training, and support that they need.

Because if we did nuke a particular place other countries might not take too kindly to that. We go and nuke a place then other countries see that we did it so why can't we. They start doing the same thing and pretty soon we have nuclear wars on our hands.

First, if they give women and children 72 hours to leave, don't you think the insurgents would leave too?

Second, America does not condone the killing of innocents, and that is what would happen if this was done.

Third, It would absolutely destroy our reputation in the Arab world, and further infuriate terrorist networks

Fourth, Other countries might then launch retaliatory attacks against the US

1 of the purposes of the U.S nuclear arsenal is to deter any attacks from nations unfriendly to the U.S. To use that arsenal in a sheer powerdemonstration like you suggest, would be the same as to kill flies w/dynamite. A rather idiotic & stupid way of missusing it. It would also lead to severe complications for the U.S.

Liberals have no interest in disbanding the military any more than Neo-Cons want to destroy it through over extension and pointless adventuring. They each want to use it in different ways. You don't seem to really have any idea how the Liberals want to use it, nor the damage being done through Neo-Cons over-using it.

What is it going to achieve to nuke a deserted place?
You want to show your muscles to religious fanatics, you want Iran to work on its nukes even faster.

Beware of not nuking your own troops though, geography is not really your strongest point.
