I'm almost 20 weeks pregnant. I think my stomach is not that big at all. However, people think I might be having twins. They think it's because I started showing at four months. Then twins run in my family and my partner's family. I told them the doctor only heard one heartbeat so there is no way possible if the doctor only heard one heartbeat. I have not done an ultrasound yet (1st one this week). I also told them that, I still do not feel any kicks yet nor that much move, cause I believe that if you are having twins, you will feel the move early. Why do people think I might be having twins? Is it a nice way of saying.. wow you're fat? HAHA

People are rude, plain and simple. When I WAS pregnant with twins, people always told me that there was no way I could be carrying twins because I was so small. It hurt my feelings too. People should just keep their mouths shut.

Everyone told me I was having twins...because they run in my family also.....and even after 2 U/Ss and only 1 heart beat they still would say I was having twins..bla bla bla...I'm now 33 weeks and only gained 25lbs so far....but it is really annoying to hear "You're having twins!!" I can relate, I guess some people just feel like annoying pregnant women.

People do that all the time. I still get told that i'm having twins, and i'm six months along with a belly that could be for someone who is 4 months along. people do it jsut b/c they want to. Its sort of mean. But wait til your scan and have it confrimed that you are having only one child then you can prove to them with out a dount thats its jsut one.

People do that all the time to everyone. It's just another way people try to scare pregnant women. Like mothers telling all their pregnancy horror stories to women who are pregnant for the first time. Just ignore them or laugh along with them.

people are saying that to me too, i'm thin but i'm all belly at 28 weeks pregnant. i'm starting to get pissed off about it too, i feel like you do. are they saying i'm fat or what?
