We have a mac laptop that's about a year old. we have garage band. he has a microphone. i looked on the apple store site, and they had some usb interface things, and a friend told me to get an imic and a pre-amp and stuff, but I'm still confused and don't really know what I'm looking for. I imagine he would mostly just want to record acoustic guitar and vocals to start, possibly keyboard and a drum machine in the future. So what do I need to buy to get him started? Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
