James Stewart for It's a Wonderful Life and other movies as well. I love his voice--it was so unique.
Anthony Hopkins is another good actor. He was so realistically disturbing in Silence of the Lambs, and has such a calmness and genuine quality about him in other films.
Also Tom Hanks -- all the romantic comedies but excellent in serious roles as well such as Saving Private Ryan and Philadelphia.

Gary Sinuse as he supports our military and it's veterans and has been doing so for a long time. He is a good man and really cares about them and I admire him for that regardless of what films he plays in. I refuse to watch films with certain actors because of their pompous ways about what they think is best for America and it's a refreshing thing to see someone who really is making a difference instead of constantly putting down America and it's President. I also like Chuck Norris and his films and among legendary actors I like Gary Cooper and James Stewart. James Stewart was a military combat veteran too!

Personally, it is Anthony Hopkins for me. I was 'besotted' with his portrayal of Hannibal Lecter in 'Silence of the Lambs' (1991). Then I fell for his ultimate charisma in 'Meet Joe Black' and 'The mask of Zorro'
Although he has made numerous films long before I was born, I felt his portrayal of Burt Munro in 'The world's fastest Indian' (2005) depicting the life of a New Zealander who broke a world record for speed on a motorbike was an amazing feat ~ I mean, he had to have a NZ accent ~ Being a New Zealander myself, I thought he did a fabulous job of it.
