Georgia, by far! It's a great state!

Georgia has the ATL, which is a phenom in and of itself. Truly a booming, cosmopolitan city with beautiful, well-manicured neighborhoods, nice clubs, and even nicer natives. But what surprised me was the fact that most people know what turn signals, polite driving, and yielding consist of in ATL. It wouldn't hurt my feelings if I moved there! Oh yeah, and talk about the women...tied with Texas for the most beautiful I've ever seen!

Kentucky is my native state, much against my will. Even in the small towns, I can not say that most people are polite, inside and outside of their cars. In fact, many people are quite standoffish and outright rude if you don't believe as they do (I don't have a KY accent, but I am still very conservative on economic and social issues and attend church every weekend.) Manners and southern hospitality just aren't as prevalent here, and even our cities are not as booming and cosmopolitan as parts of Georgia.

Oh yeah, the North GA mountains beat the East KY mountains hands down. They're prettier and cleaner year-round.

Hmmm...maybe it's just a personal experience of mine but when I traveled though Georgia...I didn't see much nice manners AT ALL. I thought staring was considered bad manners. I probably looked to much like a city slicker but wow, didn't find many nice people. Sorry. :( I DID find SOME nice people, but mainly rude ones around the Florida-Georgia border area. Maybe I have to visit again or something....to see what you see...
