Do you agree that Houston Nutt and Frank Broyles should both be fired for the whole Mitch Mustain incident? I'm also mad because we had a pretty decent team this year and 3 starting freshmen. We lost 2 and an offensive coordinator. Agree or Disagree?

Granted Mustain was a freshman, but he was not a good qb. Maybe he will become one (unless he goes to SC, in which case he'll never see the field), but he wasn't one last year. Nutt knew this, he knew that he had two great running backs, and he knew that he had to win to keep his job. What would you have done? Nutt was in a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation. He could have kowtowed to his freshman quarterback and lost more games, or he could have focused on his strength, the running game, and alienated said qb. He made the choice to win, now, as much as he could, and now you want to fire him for it. Mustain should have known what kind of program he was going to. If he wanted to go to a pass first program he should have stuck with Notre Dame where he would now be the clear starter and Clausen would never have been recruited. His fault, not Nutt's.

I agree wholeheartedly.

How can people say that Mustain wasn't all that good when he won 7 straight games as a starter? (The 8th one was won, but he only played one series so I'm not counting that).

Houston Nutt's ego got in the way once again of allowing someone else to get the praise they deserve.

When Mustain was pulled in the South Carolina game, Nutt said it would be a 2-QB system the rest of the season. Hmmm. In the next 5 games, Mustain played 24 snaps. 18 of those came against Wisconsin. Where was this 2-QB system?

It's commonly known here in NW Arkansas that Nutt is refusing to give Gus Malzahn a SEC West Championship ring. Why? Because his ego won't allow him to. Gus has every right to have a ring as anyone else.

Houston Nutt is like an Elementary school in July...neither of them have class.

Enough said.

I'm not even an Arkansas fan and I'm upset that Nutt is getting so much CRAP over this! Mustain wasn't all that good except for the Vanderbilt and Tennessee games! Besides, with McFadden and Jones back there, Nutt had to build the offense around THEM because of Mustain's INCONSISTENCIES! I hope "Crapstain" Mustain falls flat on his C-USA playing butt at Tulsa and that his prima donna butt ends up asking, "Do you want fries with that?" I can't BELIEVE that boy's MOM causing such a CRAPSTORM because she felt like they were lied to about Mitch getting to play. HE GOT TO PLAY AND DIDN'T CUT IT RIGHT AWAY! If he'd held his water and his whiny MOM and DAD kept their mouths shut for one lousy year so Mitch could develop, you guys would KICK SOME SERIOUS BUTT this season! As it is now, you're going to be predictable with an offense that will be about 65% run with McFadden and Jones back there with an UNPROVEN QB and limited receiver corps.
