After being doped, and stabbed while attempting to do what the Salvation Army now braggs about nowadays (getting people to battered women's shelters), our hero is shot by police after all are ambushed and the woman and her child are killed. The cop is distraught and "certain" our hero did it. Bowing to peer pressure he takes the guy outside with no dissent from his fellow cop shoots the and cuffed guy who was forced to the ground knee in back hair pulled into the cops weapon. Is the hospital liable? Should anyone admit to the fellow they shot him so he can get good help?

I want you to pretend for a moment that you know this story is true. (Lets not bother trying to get me into more bullet wounds shall we?) The ex is a vice cop's daughter. The divorce was due in part because the ex was caught taking dope from the hospital in question. Don't bother trying to find references up here the mental health system effectively is used to prevent papers from publishing if a person might wake up and feel embarrassed some day. Besides, who wants both higher taxes (to pay for the lawsuit against the cop) and higher regional health care bills (to pay for the lawsuit against the hospital)? You see the judge (drunk driving) that arranged the marriage ran over our hero, but didn't want to pay for it. Instead he commited treason; he used his job to find people he could coerce into helping him avoid civil liability. Etc. Hey, kinda makes me wanna give the judges even more power; but I can't figure out how to, because without a jury trial they can evidently order murders!

I also forgot an even bigger who wants: Who wants lessened property values because of reported murders of southern white trash? The girl had just moved up (evidently looking for the one guy she trusted, our hero who she knew from childhood where they grew up together for a bit in Florida - yes "He's a REB livin' in Maine - more relatives of Georgians than Bostonians before civil war ethnic cleansing?) How bout her possible race? And then there is Bangor being tops of the list in KKK enrolement historically. Then, after all, Bangor Maine is in Maine. And here it's not even nice to be from Maine. Most of the real power here are from outside the State. We don't even have a National Guard. Oh yeah, they say we do, but Reagan "Federalized it" when we wouldn't go to Latin America to "train". And try to find a Piscataquis Indian! The Feds don't even recognise the existance of the Piscataquis. Absolutely nobody here wants another snooty Indian with more money than a "true Mainer"!
