I mean, the first time. ;) For that matter, does anyone know the average age at which people get married? I'm curious.

I was 25. She was 24.
Been married 8 years.
I seem to remember reading that the average age for men is 27 and women is 25 these day.

I don't know the average age, but I got married at 22, very young by many people's standards, but it has worked for us. My husband is almost 10 years older so it took alot of the young and dumb issues out of the way. Deep down you will know if you are too young, try having a long engagement to be sure.

I am 22 and not married yet. But I had a friend that was married at 19, another at 20 and two more this year at 22.

My wife was 19 I was 17. We have been married for 7_1/2 years and no, we were not pregant. We waited unti we were married. We have a wounderful 4 year old boy. We dcided that I quit was not an option and have worked togehter to get past all the problems.

I was 21. Today my husband walked out on me and my daughter. Make sure you talk with someone like a preacher to talk about the possibilities of marriage. I only wish now that I would have listened.
