First, all "hotspots" are hot for any computer, Mac or Windows so if you find one, it will be fine for your Mac. Have you already tested your Mac on a WiFi network to be sure it is setup with the hardware and settings to connect? You will need to check a Google or Yahoo search for WiFi hotspots L.A. to find out where there are some free ones. Otherwise, Starbucks has a hotspot for a price.

But if your main goal is to test your web pages on a Mac, you can just transfer them to the Mac via ethernet cable or an external drive. When you open the web pages with Safari or Firefox on the Mac, there you are, testing the web pages. You don't have to load them via hotspot. Everything will look exactly the same if they load from the hard drive.
