stop at the billie swamp safari, it is an absolute blast!! It is off of 75 (alligator alley) and they have airboat rides, swamp buggy rides and great displays of local wildlife. It is just a fun afternoon out and they have great tourguides that will tell you all kinds of things about the plants and animals of the everglades.

Take A LOT of mosquito spray. I even went during a "dry time". 30 seconds outof the car and there are literally 30-40 biting you. Tons of birds and alligators and crocs. Going on an air boat ride is fun. It is a very vast area, so pick a smaller area and explore a little closer is my suggestion. There is a lot to see and do there, just depends on how into nature you are.
