Any low dose hormone birth control pill shouldn't cause weight gain. if you don't want to gain weight i would not suggest the depo shot it made me gain 30 lbs in a summer, and i was an athletic healthy woman. The patch is ok if you don't smoke, if you do i wouldn't use it because it has a higher risk of stroke. If you have had a baby you could try the IUD but some people like it and some don't, i don't like it because it made me cramp constantly, my mother loves it and has no problems and had not gained one pound and she has had one for five years now.

Yaz is great. I haven't had any problems with weight gain, or any other bad side effects. Most pills now (especially low-dose pills) have been proven to cause zero to insignificant weight gain or loss.
