if you have cingular cell phone service and your phone is by the tower it will do that. i doubt that is the problem but the flickering happens to me

that is usually a sign of a bad monitor.....that is what mine did. Jiggle the connection and see if it works. If so, it will be a temporary fix until you get a new one. Good luck!

unhook the monitor from your computer and make sure all the pins in your cable are straight and not bent.that is the most common cause of what you described..good luck
