A night out.....?

Question

My bf and I we need just a day and night to ourselves. I am trying to think of something my bf and I can do downtown in the day and night time. Just to spend the whole day down there. Just a few things about us to help plan the day....We are older than 21 yrs old so we can drink, and we like to drink. But pretty much we are fun people who just like to have fun and we live 20 mins from the city.

Day AND night downtown? Hmmm... well, start with visiting the Art Institute, then head over to Millenium Park. You can have lunch there too so you can kill two birds with one stone. Then maybe walk across the street to the Chicago Cultural Center. Some decent art there and in the afternoons they have free concerts. Then down State Street for some window shopping or REAL shopping at Macy's etc. Find the Hot Tix office downtown (on Randolph Street I believe). They sell half-price day-of-the-show theater tickets, so you can check out Wicked or something else for half price. If you want, grab dinner at Miller's Pub on Wabash ave. Great Chicago atmosphere, great hearty food. After the theater, walk down Michigan Ave and sightsee or windowshop.

I must have missed some thing, I have no idea what city we are talking about, so I will tell you like you lived in San Antonio TX.
!. Sea World can be an all day thing, and still have time in the evening to do some clubbing.

2. Rafting on the Guadalupe River, is a fun filled day and some drinking but limited, a whole lot of fun and still there is time to do clubing in the evening.

3. Do the BBQ thing in any one of our many different parks.

4. Visit our missions and the Alamo, it is funny how many people live here and have never been there, finish up the evening with a trip on the river barge and dinner on the river walk.
