The world's tallest hotel, the 202-suite Burj al-Arab (Tower of the Arabs), where suites cost up to $15,000, stands 321 metres (1,060 feet) high in the Gulf emirate of Dubai.
The hotel not only boasts of a billowing, sail-shaped structure, it also has its own submarine ride to an underwater restaurant complete with shark-infested aquarium. It is reputed to have the world's fastest lifts, travelling at a eye-popping seven metres per second.
The hotel is said to have used more than 9,000 square metres of gold leaf, marble, granite and crystal in its interior décor.

it's in dubai...it's 1093 feet high, and has 72 stories. it just opened this year. below is a link to all the tallest hotels in the worls
