Is it correct to do so or not. I have a magnet that has a smiling face that I'd like to stick on my CPU to hang papers on it and stuff, can I do that? if I can't then why??

Magnets can mess up the hard drive, if it is a weak magnet it probably won't harm anything, but it still isnt a good idea

I use a huge magnet to delete unwanted files on my PC..then I stick on the right side of my metal plated head....Refreshing!

Better not, thar be sensitive stuff inside. Bad idea. Get a little suction cup with a clip thingie.

U can past any thing on ur cpu accept metal thing because they conduct curent
