Because the alternative is too shoot their own. Blaming the press is nothing more than an excuse for every mistake they make.

The press is liberal, whether or not you want to believe it. And we don't want to shoot it, just expose it for what it really is. You just like to put down the small portion of the media that tries to get the truth out (talk radio, FOX news, etc.).

When the messenger, like you, fabricates stories and numbers and generally lies, then the messenger SHOULD be castigated.
And people like you DO aid the enemy. Read up on General Giap and his praise for the anti-war movement. That's truth, not the crap you've been spewing.

Heres the truth. We attacked Iraq without them attacking us. Thats your biggest argument. We attacked British troops to begin the Revolution, without being attacked. We attacked Germany during WW2 without THEM attacking us. History has told us that a good offense is the best defence. So tree hugging is not an option. Or maybe its the attack for oil idea. Oh yeah thats why I pay twice what I did before the war. Any other TRUTH you want to put out.
