Cute question! (Ha ha ha).Common sense is not a thing of the past, it still exists and helps us get around every situation. It's just that people have forgotten how to use it and end up doing unpardonably stupid things everyday.NOBODY IS AN EXCEPTION!! Everybody has their moment of complete craziness where ordinary tasks such as locking the door or remembering to pick up the laundry seem or remembering how to open that tin can with that new tin-opener can be Herculean tasks !!!!!!!!!!!!! Have a great day.

Common sense is an acquired thing. Life experiences teaches common sense. If you live a sheltered life you are not going to have much common sense.

Common sense is there. We all have it. But, sometimes with all the issues of survival, what we should do, (common sense), gets lost in the shuffle.

I think so too! People today are too spoiled and don't understand anything unless it is spelled out for them slowly. So sad. I mean if we had to compete with people from 100 years ago to survive (just by wits alone), guess who would win?! Yes, they would.
