well, he IS being honest but he can be a little rude somtimes...somtimes he is kinda funny too..

Honestly I think that he is a decent guy...I mean he usually starts off polite and after the contestants push and push he may say things people think are horrible but hes just trying to be honest. Also the producers edit that show a lot to make him seem a lot worse then he is...I've even heard past idols say that Simon never said that to me it most of been edited in.

I agree with him most of the time. I think American Idol has become more of a popularity competition than a singing competition. For example, the only reason most tween/teen girls are voting for Chris Richardson, AKA "The Justin Timberlake Wanna-Be", is because he has good looks, not because of his singing ability (or lack thereof).

Actually-He was a bit rude at the beggining of this season but he is straight forward. I think people seek his approvement to much which is a bad thing.

I think he's a very successful record producer and knows what he's talking about. That being said, he's a little abrasive at times.

I think he says the truth basically and people cant handle it.
he just needs to stop wearing those tight t-shirts with the short tight sleaves and and the tight jeans and change his hair style....and he'll be good.
