No. Compared to biochemistry and other hard sciences it is a breeze. I have worked and studied both and can conclusively make this statement. However, it is a little quirky and some of the concepts and logic just don't connect with some people.

Accounting is not a hard subject!
Believe me above statement is right as well as below too.
Accounting is very BORING subject.
I really hate it debiting crediting same thing again and again!
There is a funny post in a blog called two words game.
That is accounting is just a language of two words
DEBIT and CREDIT.
