Why would she agree to appear on dancing with the stars? Is she trying to clean up her image and get the public to like her? Will it work?
( I dont know what to think anymore. From what i've heard she is horrible, but i saw a clip of her on D with the S's and she didn't seem so bad. )

Also, since she has a prosthetic leg, does that give her an unfair advantage? Causing us to feel bad for her since she is 'handicapped' therefore voting for her to stay on the show?

Why on earth does everyone want to see Heather Mills fall on her face? Like everyone else on earth she's working with what God gave her. If I had just turned to that channel while she was dancing...it wouldn't have been obvious to me that she had a fake leg. As far as what kind of person she is...Paul did a pretty good job of raking her over the coals during the divorce...I never heard of her doing/saying anything bad before all that started.
My favorite is Laila Ali....though with that face, body and those MOVES....... I didn't expect THAT voice.

Thank you for your opinion Leslie, it is nice to see that there still some people out there that make up their own mind instead of the media making it up for them. Heather started her career as a model until she lost her leg as an innocent victim of an accident with a police motorbike, she then started work on different charities for the benefit of disabled people, she has worked for these causes ever since and unlike many other so called stars it was mostly done without the public knowing. Being on this program shows what can be achieved after such a setback in life, it is certainly not done for the money, we all know that she will be very wealthy after her divorce, as is every ex wife of a multi millionaire after the divorce, nothing is said about them being gold diggers.
Heather once took a young girl drug addict into her own home for six months and managed to turn that girls life around, did the papers report this? no of course not, they only put into their papers things that make her look bad, call her an ex porn star even though that was an educational video and not explicit , they have titled her Lady Mucca also to tarnish her name.
Will others reserve judgment and give her a chance.

She's doing it to show others that if you lose a leg you can still have a pretty normal life with a prosthetic leg. I think it's a nice thing to do. She certain doesn't need publicity or money. I think she's probably a nice person or she wouldn't have been married to Paul in the first place. It's take 2 to make a marriage work. I give her a lot of credit.

I don't like Heather Mills; I think she has this sinister look to her face. I think she wants more attention from the paparrazi and that's why she agreed to do Dancing With the Stars; maybe she is trying to clean up her image because she wants the public to take her side so we can abandon Paul. I don't think I'll ever like her but I don't know what the public has to say. I think if her partner takes it easy with her like he did last night, they'll be okay with her prosthetic leg - she's been getting along this long with it, she can make it through the competition with it. I just don't like her and it has nothing to do with her leg. I want Laila Ali or Apollo Ohno to win it!

I think it's admirable of her to be up there dancing with a prosthetic leg. I've recently overcome my own disability of a fractured pelvis and I know how hard it can be to return to life when your ability to walk is threatened. She may get some pity votes, sure, but I think there's a bigger picture of achieving things even when you have a disadvantage. That's a pretty important message.

She is really trying hard to get the public opinion of her to change. In the press she really looks like a golddigger and a child neglecter. It's her second chance in the spotlight. Look at me I have a handicap and I am ballroom dancing. Look at me overcoming my limitations. Everyone likes a down on their luck story and she's using that to prove herself and overshadow her messy divorce. i don't know if that will work or not. Going on a reality TV show just makes it look like your hungry for attention and I don't necesarily believe she would have been on one if the timing wasn't right and if she was still married to paul mccartney. i don't think I'm going to watch it and find out either.

In happier circumstances, Paul grow to be taking Heather to the surgeon for a checkup. He got here to the nurse at reception and pronounced "it is my spouse with a prosthetic leg named Heather", to which the nurse replied "what's the call of her different leg?"

Because she is a Money grabbing , Attension loving nobody who is only famous because she married someone who has more talent in his little finger than she does in her whole (minus 1 leg) body.

I think it is a brilliant marketing strat. for the show......!!!!!
I thought old peg leg might send the stub careening into the crowd........I am ashamed to say that is the ONLY reason I tuned in, i would have LOVED it if the judges had worn helmets for her performance........LOL LOL .......sorry I know that is mean....can't help myself.
