For me its hard to choose between the EPL and La Liga.
EPL is more aggressive, less diving, faster, and the highest percentage of foreign players.
La Liga is a little more crevative, fancier footwork and the game is a dance rather than a sprint.
In terms of international viewership, no league comes close to the EPL but what in your opinion is the best league in the world?

sweetpanther: yes, EPL games are a lot more serious and its the most profitable league in the world. But I still really appreciate the fancy footwork that the Spanish league(aka La liga) has which the EPL is pretty short of.

For me it is still the EPL but I have become so addicted to La Liga over the past three seasons. I don't compare them, just enjoy them because they offer all the good and sometimes bad that football has to offer. Players, tactics, rivalry, excitement, passion, it's all there with these two leagues week in and week out. Definitely the two stand out leagues in the world.

I also agree. I think the EPL is the best league in the world. Maybe it's just that so many foreign players spark it up. But then again, some of these foreign players don't play their best. So it kinda varies between the EPL and Spanish League. No, I don't mean that ALL the players in La Liga ALWAYS play at their best. But overall, EPL.

I personally prefer the EPL. I agree with what you said about it. I also think that it is very intense, and you can feel and see the intensity and seriousness of the game when watching it. For some reason I really like that fact. It just goes to show the level that English football is on, and the importantance of the league in other parts of the world. I also love the fans. They are very loyal and eager to show their pride and loyalty to their club.

TO ASHTON: Oh yea, of course. I am not putting La Liga down in the least. That is one thing I admire about the Spanish League. It's incredible to watch the footwork, passing, and just the creative style of the league and of the players. It's a reall enjoyment. I am just saying that I do prefer the Premier League, probably mainly because that is what I have the opportunity to watch the most. But when I do get the chance to watch Spanish teams, like Barcelona, it's always really enjoyable.

I agree with DJ A.C., the La Liga is the best league.
The EPL is more physical than the La Liga, while the La Liga has more creativity than the EPL. In the EPL you see more long ball, while in the La Liga you see short, quick passes.

Guess it's the EPL coz it so unpredictable and that actually draws a lot of views. Everywhere you go the topics are about EPL and the EPL players.

The Championship. 10 teams not 3 or 4 could win it...so called big teams (see Leeds, Sheffield Wednesday and Nottingham Forests recent histories) aren't safe from relegation from this league.

The most competitive and so the best.
