Video Driver Assist?

Alright. I am attempting to play a game whichuses a heavily modified Quake III engine. The game begins to load just fine, but then I get a message stating that it cannot load the OpenGL subsystem. I have analyzed the computer and there are no software compatibility issues between the game and the computer. What else should I check?
