The five highest sectors for top pay include specialist physicians, atmospheric scientists, enterprise software developers, attorney's (senior not junior...need to do your time first) and corporate level sales people (actually one of the highest with senior level reaching over 400k per year and avg 100k-200k. The tech sector also has great opportunities especially for IT consultants (web development, software and database along with security). There are also several very high paid positions in the finance sector. You can check listings on www.money.cnn.com, www.forbes.com and www.salary.com.
