whyd you download the Ram cleaner if your afraid to use it ? to be honest , buy some Ram , your puter is severly under powered. All the ram cleaner does is free up Ram from programs that aren't using it at the moment. Waste of time.

RAM = Random Access Memory...meaning things are stored and erased all the time. If your programs are running, it is using up ram to store some of the information until it is ready for storage or termination. Once you turn off your computer, everything in your ram gets deleted anyways....if you are low on ram, i recommend you buy a larger capacity ram.

The best way to reduce RAM usage is to close all programs you aren't using, instead of just shrinking them or leaving them up in the background all the time.

If that isn't good enough, then you should look into increasing your RAM by buying new, larger RAM chips.

If it's a good program no, it won't hurt your PC. All it will do is release the RAM still set aside by closed programs. My favorite is FreeRAM, it works well and it is freeware.

Compute in Peace!

When you turn your PC off and on again, it all gets "Cleaned".

I can't imagine what a RAM cleaner does, aside from bilk you out of money.
