Technically, fusion is taking two different musical styles and fusing them together. Usually, people are referring to a fusion of jazz and rock which was halfway popular during the nineteen-seventies. However, there is always a possibility that is will make a big comeback and become extremely popular.

think of music as a vast pallete where the genres are the colors...when those colors are mixed by talented people the most common result is innovation....or even a brand new genre or era....and sometimes,pure magic.-
