Do you think a massage therapist, or a medical adminstrator would require one? Can you just please list some jobs. Thanks

Telemarketer/Customer Service
Construction
Computer repair
Auto repair
Delivery person (newspapers, magazines, etc.)

I'm not even sure that the above wouldn't do one. I live in Arizona, which is a "right to work" state--which means they don't have to hire anyone without doing a credit/background/police check. Some places will, and some won't.

All jobs in the medical field require background check. They do extensive background check like live scan check from police department.

The larger the employer the more likely they are to run background checks. Don't worry about them checking to determine if you've listed all your jobs or the reasons for leaving, etc. Past employers are afraid of lawsuits so they usually only verify employment dates and maybe salary. Bluff it. You won't go to jail, just won't get the job.

Anything in the medical field would require one! Maybe a security guard job wouldn't....or someone who works in retail.
