No, I really don't ... but what you are talking about is called 'schadenfreude' ... taking pleasure at other's pain ... and it is 'quite common' in that all of us do it at least occasionally ... although some of us have 'learned' to 'help' rather than 'laugh' at people who are 'misfortunate' and can be helped.

Depends if it's my pesky mother inlaw...yes I am sorry i enjoy her misfortune...but if it is one of my children then no...I help them through it...
