If you know a plumber they may want it, or another ham radio enthusiast. If not you may just need to cut it down to a more manageable size and take it to the recycle yard.

Rock salt won't harm your pipes, yet my understand-how is that Copper Sulfate (additionally a salt) is stronger. i purchase it in my interior sight ironmongery shop right alongside with the different drain cleansing products. that's extremely useful to evaluate removing the offending tree? undergo in concepts Roto Rooter form amenities will come and cut back the debris out, besides the shown fact that it is going to strengthen decrease back. My understand-how is that the only finished restoration is to substitute the clay with new metallic pipe or aother authorized textile. The clay is porous and extremely draws the roots. My grandmother had a drip form leak in some plumbing in the cellar. (grow to be at the back of a cabinet, and no person observed it.) After 10 years or so we had roots becoming up throughout the concerete floor! mom Nature is relentless!

If you live in the country you could ask Salvation Army or any other charity organization would want it. If it's in sections that shouldn't be too difficult.
Ask anyone at your church or junk yard. People with tv's could still want that pipe to do what it was doing for you!

Cut it into small sections and take to a recycling center. Last time I checked, scrap steel is not worth much, but recycling is better than it sitting in a landfill.

You should be able to sell it at a scrap metal yard. You'll only get 10-15 cents per pound, but it's better than paying to dump it.

put it in the FREE ads or put the end in your hitch every three feet and bend it until all of it is short enough to remove to the dumps.
do you know a farmer around, they usually need pipes of all kinds.

Try calling a metal salvage yard. They may come slice it up for free for the metals value.

in my neighborhood you just put it out by the curb and the junk scavengers will take it in the blink of an eye.
