I need an idea of an activity for the night, maybe dinner, and romantic hotel?

A dinner cruise on the Oddessy docked at Navy Pier or dinner at a small bistro in Lincoln Park (maybe Geja's or Mon Amie Gabie), piano music at the Redhead Piano Bar or Jilly's, a few drinks at the Signature Room bar at the top of the John Hancock building, and then a nearby hotel, maybe the Hyatt on Michigan Ave.

Hope you've got some deep pockets.... :)

The river cruise at night is awsome unless it is freezing cold. There are many great hotels in the loop.

I agree with Maywd. The Swissotel is great and has won awards for its architecture.

Also, try the W on Lakeshore. Ask for the "romance" package.

I would recommend the Swissotel on Wacker. It offers rooms with great views of the city.

take your date to Wrigley Park and bang her in the cheap seats

then take the EL and bang her in the back of the car (a little ":Risky Business")

then go to the Sears Tower and bang her 110 stories up

then put her in a cab and send her home, and enjoy ESPN in the fancy hotel without her yapping "why do you even care about basketball?"
