Hello I am 37 weeks pregnant and at 36 weeks I was 1 centimeter dialated and 50% thinned. This is my third child but my youngest is 7 years old so its been awhile. How much longer do u think I have until I go into labor.

its hard to say when i went to my to my doc at 37 weeks and i was 3 centimeters. i had no contractions. then when i was 38 weeks i went to the hospital with 3 centimeters and irregular contractions. they send me home i walked like 3 or 4 miles and when back to the hospital the same day with 5 centimeters and regular contractions. needless to say he was born that same day!!

I was dialated 2 cm for a few weeks!!

I was dilated almost 2 weeks at 3cm before labor.

It's always different, you could go into labor tonight or not for another two weeks. There are things you can do, however, to encourage labor...

you never know it's always different, try having sex sperm softens your cervix so you will dilate faster all so walk a lot the pressure from the baby's hear helps to
