I have a 2000 Dodge Durango and both of my extra 12v power supply sockets are not working. My regular cigarette lighter one works just fine. My extra ones are located in the dash and in the rear passenger side of the vehicle. Could it be a blown fuse? Does the whole thing need to be replaced?

If it is a blown fuse, what would it be labeled under? There is one that says cigarette lighter but that one is not blown.

there is probably a fuse between your regular cigarette lighter and the power outlet in the dash as they are all probably on the same circuit from the fuse box, see if there is a wire coming of the cigarette lighter that goes to the optional outlet and look for a fuse.

Usually, on those particular types of external power outlets, there is an additional seperate fuse. Try checking for additional fuses, I had a fuse go out on mine and the cigarette lighter did not work. Hope this helps.

Sounds like a fuse to me. Or some loose wiring somewhere. I hope it is the fuse, tons easier to fix.

it is extra appropriate to bypass into your fuse panel and using a tester, see which open circuit could use for this purpose. Then hook up the wiring and insert a 20amp fuse. make beneficial to apply an empty circuit, you will see as quickly as get to panel what recommend.
