I thought Kerry Washington who was on of my favorite. actress was a disgrace in the movie The Last King of Scotland she really stooped to an all time low in the Movie I thought the sex scenes especially involving a WHITE(AND NO I'm not a Racist) male was a total disgrace to the african american female community once again another sellout her and Halle Berry, I'm not wanting to offened anyone but this is my opinion of the some of the black actress in Hollywood..... we only have a few good ones such as Angela Basset, Kimberly Elise, Nicole Parker, Nia Long, Gabrielle Union, Queen Latifah, and the list goes on we still have a few good does anyone else agree or disagree??????????????????? I really just wanna knw. how come black actress in hollywood can't ever take decent roles?? either their , prostitutes, Druggies, pictured w/ 4 and 5 kids or pictured w/ a white male.... only have a few good directors out there such as TLYER PERRY who Categorize black women in a decent way

It's time that make up our own roles for black actors and actresses. The only way that's going to happen is if we get more black writers. Don't depend on Hollywood, because they feel that there's no need to cater to blacks.

Wait, you're not racist, but you don't support her because her role had her have sex with the doctor?
What do you consider a decent role? Kerry Washington's character was not a "prostitute" or a "druggy". she did have 2 kids but so did the other wives (and they had more). Her husband was black and she had a fling with the scottish doctor. I don't understand why that makes her a disgrace.
personally i think she did a very good job. both her and forest whittaker nailed the accents and both acted very well.

in real life ironically, Kerry Washington is involved with a white man as is halle berry. but you forget that some of the actresses that you mentioned are mixed with white and black. but so what, I banged a few white chicks myself but i ended up marrying a black woman. no big deal

We need more Tyler Perrys who are less sappy and preachy (I love TP but comeon).
Its not that they play hoes and junkies, its that the only good roles ARE of junkies and hoes and nothing else. Its up to us to take control of our image...stop looking to Hollywhite to do it. Honestly!!
