women in their late 20s and older(and even some women in their early and mid 20s) say that they are more sexually attracted to guys in their late 20s and 30s. but they always indicate otherwise. when women are asked what would flatter them more, a boy in his teens or early 20s telling them they're pretty, or a guy their age or older telling them they're pretty, most of them seem to be more flattered by the younger boy. if the older guys are really more attractive, then why are they more flattered by the younger boy? are women really consider guys in their late 20s and older more attractive or are they really most attracted to high school and college boys? be honest.

i'm 18 but i'm not involved with an older woman. i'm just curious about whether guys around my age are actually the most sexually attractive to women or if it's actually older guys.

No one ALWAYS does anything.
Personally, I am attracted to men in their late 20's and 30's. I'm not sure if that's due to intellectual maturity, or physical attributes. But I can't speak for all women.
And neither should you be trying to generalize all women.

No, women in that age group are not attracted to teenage boys. Don't confuse what's "flattering" with what may be a "turn on." Women who say they would be more flattered by the compliments of younger men, and even high school boys, probably mean that boys/men in that age group are used to dating/being attracted to girls closer to their own age...therefore, if they find an older women attractive, she must "look" young and be able to rival those younger women in beauty. And since youth and beauty are synonymous in our culture...can be seen as a huge compliment. That is my reasoning anyway. A woman can be flattered by a compliment, but it does not necessitate attraction. I am actually most flattered when random people (men, women, OR children) give me compliments...because it seems more sincere then. That does mean I am more "attracted" to these people.

men in general are more attracted to girls their age or younger. So it's flattering to know that younger men are attracted to you, even when you're in your mid-thirties. It means that you're somewhat sexy.
That being said, it doesn't mean we would want to do something with younger guys ( i mean, guys who are about 10 years younger). It's just an ego-booster!
When I was 25 (I'm 27), there was an 18-year-old guy who found me attractive. He never did anything about it... Well, he sort of tried, but I didn't understand it! I didn't imagine he would have wanted to do something with me! Anyway, he was really good looking (model type) so that was flatterring, but I did find him too young. I prefer men who are my age, or maximum 2-3 years younger or 5-7 years older. I'm just not sexually attracted to y9uonger guys. They might be good looking, and if I were younger, I'm sure I would find some handsome, but they just look cute, now!
So, I think they are telling the truth. It's good for your ego, but most women would find them a bit too young looking! That being said... As long as they are of legal age, maybe I'll do it one day! I'm sure we would both be happy about the situation! But I wouldn't have a relationship with him, and I don't think he would want one!

Yes, you ARE confused. Where are your statistics? I've never seen or read anything that would indicate that women are more attractive to high school boys.
"when women are asked what would flatter them more ... " Is this a valid survey? Where is the link? Even IF it's true (which I doubt, since you gave no proof), there is a HUGE difference between feeling "flattered" and feeling "attracted."
I didn't even like high school guys when I was in high school ... why should I start now?

I noticed that you mentioned this kind of thing before in your other answers so I assume you were involved with an older woman. My guess is that your 19 or 20 and you feel a little weird about the whole thing. To answer your question I think any woman would be flattered to know that a man(doesn't matter what age) finds her attractive. It's in our nature to want our looks to be admired. That might sound a little shallow but wouldn't you like to know if people think your attractive?

I'm 36, so out of the age range of this question, but in my 20s, I might have liked to look at a college guy, or a high school guy, but I knew the maturity level wasn't there for a relationship. So for a relationship, it's definitely the older guys. For eye candy, maybe the younger ones. Depends on the guy and on the woman.

At my age I would prefer someone my age. No I do not find young boys attractive.
