You can not make a little one kick. They already have there own personalities. I have had three children and all three pregnancy's were different. The doctors told me they move the most right after you eat. Also you can feel them move better if you are sitting still or laying down. This is because there is nothing to distract you from feeling it. As you get farther along you WILL feel it more. My doctor also told me that during the day when your are moving around it can rock the baby to sleep. So when you are still they don't feel the movement and wake up.

Not all babies will kick or be more active. With my son he was laid back in the womb and the only time I felt him was after I would shower in the evening (I worked graveyard shift) and when I would relax in the recliner it would be like he was doing very mild flip flops in my stomach. Other than that I never really felt him move. My daughter on the other hand was always moving. Constantly on the move but again she was not a kicker either.

When I was pregnant with both of my children my husband would push just a little on my stomach after the baby would kick and the baby would kick back like they were playing.

Don't worry you'll feel it allot more in the weeks to come! Then you'll be like me wishing he/she would stop kicking you all the time! But i noticed when ever i eat chocolate or drink root beer he goes a little crazy.. probably the sugar!
Good Luck!

you are right at the time where you are gonna start feeling it more often and STRONGER! :o) just be very patient.
i would say not to provoke the baby in any way, just enjoy it every time you feel it because soon he/she will be getting bigger and those kicks will be in your rib cage and can get uncomfortable......and just wait until the baby gets the hiccups!
enjoy every second! good luck in your pregnancy. :o)

Patience, before you know it, that little one will be kicking you in the ribs and doing a tap dance on your bladder. You'll be on here asking how to mellow him/her out.

you'll just have to wait. Within about 4 weeks, you'll feel the baby a lot more.
