First and foremost, (and this is the toughest part) RELAX. I know that is easy to say! I tried for 5 years.... Even tried Clomid (fertility drugs) and did not get pregnant. At that time the fertility doctor told me to count the first day that I bled as day one, and have sex the 13th 14th and 15th day of my cycle. Those are supposed to be the most fertile days. I think I just got so sick with it (obsessive even!) that I could not relax. I am now approx 10 weeks. I think when I finally just trusted what is meant to be would be and relaxed that nature took its course. Best wishes!

I would also say RELAX please, and don't think about the whole "trying" while you're having sex, cause that's not gonna help. I would just start TTCing from the first day that your period is GONE until the first day that your period RETURNS (the next month) and do it EVERY OTHER DAY - sounds like a lot, but if you want it - you gotta put in the effort. I did that for a month (after I tried for the first 2 months with just trying around my predicted ovulation days) and I got my BFP before X-mas. It was the most amazing present I could ever get. Unfortunately, I lost it at 11 weeks, and had a D&C, but I'm thinking positively, and I'm now ready to jump into the whole "trying" again, but I just have to be done with at least my 1st normal cycle.

Good Luck & HAVE FUN!

i had a friend was trying to conceive for 2 years i told her this have sex right after your period because some women do not ovulate a week or 2 weeks after there period especial if they have short periods they tend to ovulate right after there period second advice was QUIT JUMPING out of bed after sex lay There for at least 15 minutes so the sperm can swim there lap.A month later she was pregnant and i am also pregnant for the 4th time(21 weeks) work for her and I .

Buy an ovualtion kit which will pinpoint your fertile period. Don't stress and enjoy yourselves. Good Luck!

Have you tried using an ovulation kit, do you chart your temperature??? Has he had a sperm count done? It could be several things.

Number one, get a new GP. He/she sounds like a quack.
