It was Congress that decided a woman should not be in a combat MOS and since she is a senator she would just change that. A real woman could handle being Commander in Chief and since Hillary will not win this Presidency it doesn't matter that she is running.

Think for a second. Any US citizen born here can be president. As a result of being elected you BECOME commander in chief. There isn't, and has never been any prerequesite of military service to become president, nor has that historically been a guarantee of being an effective president or commander in chief of the armed forces. If you have an issue with female presidential candidates, or Hilary specifically, just come out and say it, don't ask obtuse questions!!

What difference does the infantry have to do with being Commander in Chief? Officers straight out of the academy never serve in the infantry. Others don't either, considering there is no infantry in the Navy or Airforce.
The job as Commander in Chief does not depend on that experience, or it would be a qualification to run for office.

The job does not require you to have a combative military background - ask George Bush about that, he can fill you in. The title of Commander in Chief is bestowed on any President, whether they have military background or not. To be a military tactician, it is not required that you have experience in the field. It does require study of the subject and a willingness to learn. I don't think we'll find that's a problem with Hillary, she's become quite well-versed on our military. Serving on the Armed Forces Committee for six years hasn't hurt either. That's why Presidents have advisors, military and otherwise.

the job may require to be commander and chief but it also is a civilian job not a military one. as president you are chosen by an election rather than signing a contract. by singing the contract you are subject to the rules and regulations of the ucmj which does not allow for women to be in combat units such as infantry.
another way of putting it to be in the infantry you have to be in the military. to be the president you do not have to be in the military. the reason it is like that is so to avoid a military centered dictatorship like Hitler or Stalin who focused all the political and social power on themselves and became absolute.
as a civilian (even if they had served before) presidents of the United States could remain more objective of military situations because they are separated from it as a non member.

The highest ranking officials in the military, Commander in Chief, Secretary of Defense, and Secretary of the Army (Navy, Air Force) are all civilian positions and there are no requirements/limitations to holding them.

Yes, the job requires you to be Commander in Chief...What that means is that you need to be qualified to issue commands.
It does not mean that you need to have served (especially in the infantry!).
