His greatest accomplishment is to continue on his path doing what is good and right even when all the negative stuff comes out he does not flip flop to suit each need but continues to strive to protect your country even when lots on the left hate him for just who he is.
It takes strong courage to stand up against not only his only countrymen but all the crazy like Hugo Chavez and the likes of them,if I was an american I would be proud to have him serve my country but living here in Canada seeing him do what is right is ok by me.

We are not at war with Arabs... we are in a confrontation with Islamic extremists and Iraqi insurgents (two different groups)that include Asians, Africans, people of Arabic descent, and caucasions who are Muslim. I would say that Bush's ignorance of those groups and the people of those regions have actually caused us to be in MORE danger... those groups have actually multiplied since he took office. I don't see that as courage but complete ignorance and arrogance to try to learn about that part of the world.
Now for an accomplishment, his greatest accomplishment is designating a large part of the Pacific Ocean around Hawaii as a wildlife sanctuary. I'll give him that... but that's not much from my perspective.

I would say his greatest accomplishment right now is the simple fact that there has not been a terrorist attack on American soil since 9/11. If Iraq stabilizes, creating a democracy in Iraq would be his greatest accomplishment. That is still a big if though.

Well, despite doing it for the wrong reasons, and despite the chaos it caused, deposing Saddam could probably be considered an accomplishment.
I guess the fact that there has been no further terrorist attacks on US soil must be an accomplishment too.

Let's start small. Any day he can get through without his mouth causing an international incident is a good day. You gotta give the poor guy points for effort, though.
And still a head and shoulders above Clinton

I still find it wonderful that he used a nonexistant word "mis-underestimate" three times in a minute long speech on NPR.
I laughed so much...but maybe he's really a cunning linguist and not an errant fool...
I know where my vote goes.
The world is damned indeed...everyone seeks conversion on some level.

You may be right, it is very difficult to state the greatest accomplishment, because there are so many great ones.
His efforts in banning partial birth abortion will be close to the top of the list.

Can I just be vague and say one word? Leadership!
Finally, there is a man in the White House who is not afraid to call a spade a spade!
It's been a clean administration, to say the very least.

Draft dodging, usurping of power, using the Bill of Rights as toilet paper, using "patriotism" and the flag for personal gain, kissing the rear ends of the Religious "Right". Hmmm, kind of hard to chose from those.
