I'm not sure what you mean by vibrate test but I have an LG VX8600 and I turn my phone to Vibrate all the time while at work. I generally keep it on my desk and the vibration is strong enough that I can either hear it or see it moving. But if it's in my purse, often I can't hear it when a call comes in.

Im not sure what you mean by vibrate test, but i usually press and hold the star key on my phone and it puts my phone in vibrate mode.
