Do we really think that we are so morally superior that we can force others to embrace democracy or evangelical christianity?
It astounds me that through our own ignorance, we believe ouselves to be the moral touchstone for the rest of the world. What can we do to change our own misguided self-importance?

I've felt the same way for a long time. Maybe it's just a way to divert attention from what's really wrong with our country. It's always easier to point a finger at someone else than it is to admit fault within ourselves. I wish there was a way to change it.

Noone has a right to force their beliefs on anyone or to force them into beieving as they do. By speaking our Christian beliefs, we arent forcing anyone. But, I find it interesting. Ppl lwill try and silence Christians, saying we are shoving our beliefs on others. Yet, they can live lives of every depravity their is, not even believiing in God and teling their beliefs to the world and letting it get to our children, But when we speak up, they try to silence us. Why are they allowed to speak their beliefs and Christians must be silenced/ Better wake up, as our rights are being taken faster than you can say what happened?
Christians, true Christians dont have misguided images of themsleves. They only know the image of God, and want to take it to the world so they may be saved too.
You say who are we to say we are the moral touchstone.
Well, Jesus is the chief cornerstone, and we follow Him.
So, yep, God loves us all the same, but only His ppl will be saved. Tell this to the world.
If an athiest has a right to speak, so does a christian. If I say I am against homosexuality, that doesnt make me a hater of gay ppl. It means I love them, know its wrong, and hope to send them to Jesus for salvation. If they say its ok to be gay, do they hate us Christians? LEts all have the right to speak or all shut up. that simple............................
