if you had not put reserve price on the cards, then technically you should send the cards. But if did not put and still do not want to send the card, go to paypal and click on refund money to buyer. Once money back to buyer, send him a email that you got the cards damaged and not sure if you should send them, so you had refunded the money. Using eBay go to item listing (tarot card) and under "Additional Options" look for "report an unpaid item." and under "Why are you reporting this Unpaid Item?" select "we both agree..."
and under " What has happened so far in the dispute? " the buyer and seller disagree on terms...".....job done

If you are only willing to sell for a certain amount then you should have either sold them at a 'Buy it Now' or put a reserve price on the auction.
If you sold them on a normal auction then I'm afraid that is too bad that you did not get what you call enough money for them.
The buyer has paid in what is a legal binding auction and you don't have the right to pull out of the sale because you did not feel that you got a fair price.
When you make a listing the start price should be the minimum amount you are willing to accept.

If the auction ended at $2 and the buyer has already paid you, then you cannot just refund them the money because it didn't sell for as much as you wanted it to. You would have had to have a higher starting amount and let people bid from there.

u are shocking. if you had looked at ebay properly before u decided to sell then maybe u would actually have listed them with a starting price instead of the way u placed it. The buyer has paid for them and its ur problem u didnt know what u were doing. unlucky! The word greed springs to mind.Oh....and Karma.

Has the auction ended? or is that simply a bid on the item?

You cannot refund on this if the customer does not want to back down, its oyur fault for not specifying a reserve price or starting the bidding at the minimum price you wanted, this is entirely your fault for not listing properly and will not bode well with either Paypal or Ebay

So sorry to pay attention your first journey merchandising on E-Bay became no longer a marvelous one. the 1st concern to do next time, is to make beneficial that fee is won earlier you deliver the different products. Notification of money won will take place on your "My Ebay" internet site, no longer from an digital mail. The icon saying fee is won will no longer be 'greyed out' for the item in question. besides, as quickly as there is money on your Paypal account, as quickly as you have reached a minimum of £50, you could certainly deliver it on your financial business enterprise account, only save on with the educational on your paypay account (i think of that's the tab named 'pass money'). in case you have been scammed, it incredibly is unlucky, yet do no longer permit that positioned you off!! ultimate of success.

If the winning bid is £2 then you have to honour it. The man who won it has a contract with you. You cannot just say "oh I didn't make enough money". You should have put a reserve on.

Did you put a reserve price on the item, if not its your tough luck. You can't just decide not to sell something because it didn't reach the price you wanted.
