You have a few options for transportation.

Private Transfer: This is the only option I have ever used myself. I have a company I use for all of my transportation around Orlando and always use them, so I find it the easiest and most conveient way to go and in many situations it is much less expensive. It really isn't all that expensive to do a private transfer, usually around $60, depending on the company, plus the tip. Plus, they will work with you, just be sure they know you want both ways and you will usually get a lower rate. Also, if you will be using a private transfer from the airport and use the same company, most will offer you a little better discount for taking several transfers with them.

Mears: Mears offers shuttles all over Orlando. They charge per person, so it can add up depending on your party size. I believe it is around $18, or so, person now to get to Universal, but that is something you want to check into. The only problem with Mear's is that they generally try to fill their van before leaving, so you may have to wait a little longer. And, as with the private transfer you usually have to schedule it, but I find private transfers are pretty good at working with you, especially if you can give them a time frame.

Taxi: The taxi generally runs the same as a private transfer, though it isn't quite as nice. So you are looking at around $30 each way, plus tip. The only thing that is better about the taxi is that they are right at the gate and you don't have to reserve or anything, but they usually aren't as friendly.

Lynx is the other option, but isn't quite as easy to use. I've not used it personally, so I don't know much about it!

At Universal Orlando you can walk down to the Ground Transportation area and catch a taxi cab, that would be your easiest and quickest bet. I dont think there is any shuttle transportation to Disney.

There's no shuttle that goes directly between the two parks, but there is public transport via LYNX bus. It'll cost $1.75, including the transfer.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION:

Take the bus from CityWalk.

Take Link 40 to 455 N Garland Ave.

Transfer to Link 50.

Take Link 50 to the WDW Transportation and Ticket Center.

From there, take Disney Transportation.

The route is planned on this page for you:

There is no shuttle but you can take a taxi or hire a car (sometimes cheaper depending on how many people in your group, plus you can determine a pick up time and not worry about someone else taking your ride) or rent a car for the day.

There are only shuttles from hotels to disney and disney to disney places.

See if the hotel you're staying in is going to have a shuttle to take you there, otherwise you are going to have to take a cab.

Hope you have fun.

i'd recommend staying at a Walt Disney international inn. that's close to to maximum sights that travelers visit, and they grant loose transportation to all of their 4 parks. you may also get a Mears go back and forth, or cab to everyday, in spite of the undeniable fact that that's not loose. in case you stay at easily one of Disney's fee motels it may be round $one hundred, that's oftentimes the price you'll finally end up figuring out to purchase a respectable inn off of Disney resources. a minimum of once you stay at Disney, you know the inn will be fantastic, and the service tremendous. lodges that grant loose shuttles to Disney, that are off resources, oftentimes in undemanding words have on the most one go back and forth in line with hour, that can truly positioned a damper on plans. Disney's buses come each 20 minutes or as a lot as necessary.

Probably, but I doubt it would be free. We used car services and taxis most of the time so we didn't have to wait an hour for a shuttle.

alot of the hotels offer a shuttle to all parks even the non park hotels. You should not plan to do 2 parks on same day!? They are very big and alot to do & see.
