AWWWW!Thought it was soooo pathetic when J.R. was saying that it was "heartbreaking" for Ric Flair that he wouldn't be competing at Wrestlemania.I thought it was hillarious! He should take this time to retire to Florida like normal old people do before I haveta watch him have a heart attack in the middle of the ring and die!

Flair is getting old. I'll flat out admit that. However, he must stay wrestling for several reasons:
1. Flair has had tax problems recently as well as a recent divorce from his wife of over 20 years. Both are taking portions of his salary.
2. If you're Flair why would you want to retire? Triple H is his best friend right now and you know he'll be inducted into the Hall of Fame soon. You know that Vince will want to make as much hype out of him going into the hall of fame as possible and that could mean a main event spot, possibly against Vince. Another possiblity could be a title reign.
3. Granted he has gotten worse in the ring over the past decade, he can still teach younger wrestlers what they are supposed to do in the ring and what they are doing wrong. WWE has a history of bringing in big muscular men and turning them into stars based on their personality not their wrestling abilities. Basically, Flair can turn a horrible match into a watchable match.
4.Yes, Flair is the oldest wrestler on the active roster. However the roster is old in itself and could become unstable. Batista, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, and Chris Benoit have all had issues with injuries the past several years. The Undertaker and Kane could retire. RVD, Shelton Benjamin, and Sabu could be going to TNA. This leaves Cena, Edge, Lashley, Nitro, CM Punk, and The Hardys as the only legitimate superstars. Flair could go on ECW, Raw, and Smackdown and help bring a little stability to the roster.

I still think he should retire, but for the reasons I have given he should wait a couple of years and go out the way he wants to and not be forced out. Flair will always be remembered as one of the greats up there with likes of Hulk Hogan and Bret Hart.

That old fart can nevertheless placed on a extra appropriate teach than a majority of the present considerable experience. in keeping with risk John Cena, super Khali, Bobby Lashley, and Batista could retire and enable Naitch have his very final run. Age is yet a style, and to Ric aptitude, it purely represents each and every era of yank woman that he's slept with, alongside with probable your mom and grandmother.

Even though I am a true Ric Flair fan, I have been for 20 years now, I have to agree with you on the part about wrestling his old compititions kids. Ric was the man in his day. He is a definite for the hall of fame one day..but he really is out of his element now. He needs to take his glory and his wonderful memories of his carerr and retire. While he is not to injured to enjoy it.

I like Ric Flair. I think he is one of the greatest World Champions in wrestling. There is a saying that I know of. "Play until they don't pay you anymore". Flair also won the Intercontinental Title in 2005.

ric flair maybe a future hall of famer but right now he is just some old guy trying to act young and nobody wants him around. he should have retired after his plane crash in the 70's. i hate the way he lands because it is never on his back its always on his side

Never, I fear. He just can't give up wrestling, despite the fact that no one really wants to see his saggy *** endlessly repeat the same set of moves match after match.

He'd probably make an awesome manager, but he won't step out of the spotlight.
