In the past I've heard that slider phones tend to have some problems. If so, what are they? And do you know if they've resolved those issues in the LG VX8500?

Some of the older slider phones, they were mostly by Kyocera though, would have a connection shortage. When you would slide up the phone, the screen would disconnect and go blank, and you would have to turn it on and off. But, that was 3, 4 years ago. They've improved greatly since then.

I have the Chocolate, and I'm happy with it. Only thing I don't like about it though, is that there is no protection for the screen, it got scratched very quickly, and I'm usually pretty careful with my phones.

it is going to be advantageous. as nicely, do not they make skins for the chocolate now? i'm speaking approximately those decal skins that have designs on them. in case you finally end up not liking your telephone you could merely purchase a epidermis and that i can assure you that those skins'll look plenty extra useful on a white chocolate then any of the others.
