Well, if you want top spent 600+ dollars for a system that has very little games (but some badass graphics) then go for a ps3. if you want a system that has a very good library ( and very good graphics), then id pick a 360. If you are on a budget get a wii. otherwise, if you dont mind holding off on getting a system for a few months, id wait and get a ps3 i about 6 or 7 months whene there are more games to choose from.
(personally. i used to own a 360 and sold it, i have a ps3 and cant wait until some more games come out. But my FAVORITE is the Wii, its just so damn fun to play, and my little brother was the one who got it for christmas).

STICK WITH THE PS3. Trust me. I was having the same debate and I am so glad that I stook with Sony. Basically it's the same system. PS3 has a little better graphics but cost more but PS3 has free online play so basically, it's not more expensive. 360 charges $5 a month which tallies up to be 60 bucks extra every year. If you have the 360 for 3 years with Live (online play) then it's even more expensive then the PS3. If you are into shooting games, they are both good. PS3 has Resistance: Fall of man. And 360 has Gears of War. The gameplay in Resistance is better, but Gears of war has better graphics and the ways you can kill people are pretty fun. They are basically the same system. But if you have the psp and the ps2 I think you should get ps3. I had ps1, ps2, and now ps3, and I love it. It's great.

The PS3 is awesome and everything is headed twoards the technology that they used for it but there are a few draw backs. 1) is none of your old games are compatable. The original play station games can be played on the PS2 but you can't play them or the PS2 games on the PS3. Also, if you have guitar hero, you would need a wireless guitar. I have heard though that the guitar hero 3 will only be for PS3.
I think if you are a huge play station fan you almost have to get a PS3 but at the same time make sure you keep your PS2 around to play all your other games on it.
As far as Xbox goes, if you like the games they offer then you might think about getting one. I personally have all the game consels except an Xbox or Xbox 360 because the games jusst don't appeal to me that much.

rather relies upon on what sort of video games you like. Playstations are generally for rpg and adventure sort video games. Xbox are sturdy for multiplayer shooters. Nintendo make kinfolk video games. I also have a 360, PSP, PS3, PS2, Xbox, Wii, DS. 360 is the main suitable.

Get a PS3. You can play PS2 games on the PS3 and not the 360.

You should get the PS3. It's similar to the Xbox 360, but the PS3 has better graphics and games than the Xbox 360.

I have all 3 consoles.
The Nintendo Wii is the best one of the 3 (believe it or not). My family and I have more fun playing Wii than anything else.
X-Box 360 and PS3 have the about the same graphics, but the 360 is just designed a whole lot smarter

I'd get the PS3, because I have a PS1, PSP, and a PS2. I'm trying to keep the tradition going. You can also play previously owned games on it, and save up for some games.
