Ok well I received this letter saying that I won some winnings from Global Vision Lottery Corporation. I noticed two mistakes...1st sentence... In other to process your claim there will be a tax charges. Instead of saying in order they said other and instead of saying charge they put charges. 2nd Sentence...Finally all winning must be claimed within five (15) days of this notice. Instead of writting winnings & fifteen days they wrote winning & five days, + (15). They send me a check from Grainger company of 4,950. and they also told me there is no out of pocket expenses. I just need to deposit the check & when it clears to give them 2,950 which is half and its for the taxes to get 115,000.00 in return. I called them up and they sound like fraud but I deposit the check & the check is pending to be cleared. Should I withdrawl the $$$ & keep it all if the check clears? Would I get in trouble if I take out the $ after it clears and then they try to cancel the check? What should I do? Help!

ok well these people dont want any information from me, they said when the check clears to call them back and I'll have to send them the $$$ through moneygram because they dont want info from me. They said the rest I get to keep because its part of my winnings. Also Grainger is a real company that sells plumbing parts & stuff. What should I do???

Scam! Millions of us get this sort of garbage every day.

Did you by chance enter this lottery? Where's your ticket?
And no legitimate lottery office is going to send you a check, have you deposit it and then send them part of it for fees/taxes!! Taxes are taken out from the winnings. You never have to pay before you get your prize.

If you do deposit that check, you will owe the bank $4950 and possibly be questioned for trying to committ fraud.

Besides, international lotteries are illegal in the U.S..

Cancel that check ASAP i'm telling you i got EXACTLY the same letter juts from a "different" organization and i ended up getting 2 checks totalling $300,000. I called the bank it was drawn on and they are real but the location it was written out for was a false bank chain and the teller told me they had been doing this for months and that if i had deposited the check i could have been arressted if i had cashed it for insufficent funds and some long other details...anyways put a block on that check and cancel it ASAP if not you could be facing jail time and the local police cant do anything to assist i already asked my local pd ...hope this helps

I get the ones regularly however they move directly to my junk mail folder. I get the equal style of e-mail from a couple of different areas too, no longer simply yahoo or msn. I am no longer certain find out how to file it, it's been on my nearby information although so folks would uncover out that approach. Maybe name the inside track stations and notice if they're going to run the tale so no person falls for it?
