Why are you so willing to believe the economy is in the dumper? Are YOU personally hurting more than you were 10 years ago? I bet not.
"Everyone with fiscal knowledge..." Nice broad generalization there. Which everyone? For each of your everyone, I can give you another equally knowledgeable everyone who can argue against your doom and gloom.
I'll tell you what is really happening...The "If it bleeds, it leads" media doesn't want to report the good news. They go out of their way to find the bad news....and let's face it...there will always be bad news if you look hard enough. And if that is ALL you hear day in and day out, you start to believe the world is coming to an end, even though if you use your eyes and look around you...you can plainly see it isn't.
Don't get me wrong, the US has its problems. But not acknowledging what is going right here only increases self-destructive knee-jerk reactions.

Iraq was not a threat?
So you have no problem with the seventeen UN documented ceasefire violations over 12 years or the constant firing on US aircraft? Or that he refused to divulge what he had done with WMD that HAD been there after the Gulf War?
That constitutes a rather large threat I would say.
Your comment on the US economy exposes the fact that you simply have no comprehension of economics.
Bush has done an outstanding job on this economy.
To say otherwise is to deny fact.

Instead of whining about being lied to, how about listening to what their actual arguments are and presenting a well reasoned counter argument if you disagree.
And for the record, you may want to look up the definition of a lie. A lie is something someone said that was not true AND they knowing knew at the time it was not true.
Are these alleged "lies" actually "lies" or rather is it really "I disagree vehemently so I'll scream 'Lies!' until everyone agrees with me"? I'm willing to bet it is the later.
Oh well. The more you scream the less we'll listen.

Sometimes I think its a form of rebellion.
To be a liberal open minded - individual who accepts various sources of information and basis philosophy on humanistic reason, is so passe.
I mean seriously that is the obvious "right" thing to do.
What better way to rebel against society than accept the fringe perspective and take the stance where you feel attacked and empowered at the same time!
The narcissistic and the underdog position all at once.
Meanwhile you can call your company that of these other " allegedly "elite" rebels....
I mean - that's one theory anyway.

Hey, we just listened to Clinton in 1998 when he said Iraq was a threat to the US and had weapons of mass destruction.

They are, as Bill O'Reilly accurately describes them, the "true believers".
These are people who are NOT pragmatists, but rather ideologues.
You'll find these unthinking people on both the far, far right and far, far left.
They are helpless in the sense that they cannot use their brain...there is no ability to process information or conduct critical analysis.
A funny thought: there might be a SCSI connection in the back of their head where information can be jacked in.

Cut me a break please. First, do you have ANY idea what neo-con means?? Probably not. Second, what is your lefty proof that Iraq was NOT a threat? We'll wait on that one.... Third, we noted you say some lefty list of rubbish exists, no doubt, but we don't see anything listed here, just skirting of the issue. Fourth, liberal lemmings are always paranoid, and love to lie, not only to themselves but to everyone else as well. Makes them feel better....

A housing bubble burst has been predicted for atleast ten years. Whitch in turn creates a buyers market, for those with the means. This creates owner leased properties. So for all you welfare sucking Dems, you should be elated by the real estate news.
