Where is a good spot to camp In Phoenix Az?

The White Tanks are fine....it's still the desert though.

Seven Springs is nice and isn't too far from Phoenix. Theres a nice spring and it has cooler temperatures than Phx.

If you are looking for some green forest you might want to try Herber, Happy Jack or Clints Wells. My family likes to go near Clints Wells, it's really nice. All three of those are in the Payson area. It a couple hours worth of drive time from Phx.

I like the White Tank Mountains they are just outside of Phoenix to the West of I-10
